The 11th Special Session of the Governing Council / Global Ministerial Environment Forum of the United Nations Environmental Programme will be held in the Bali International Convention Center, Hotel Westin Nusa Dua, Bali, on 20-26 February 2010.

The conference will be the first important event in the field of environment after the Copenhagen Summit in Denmark last December 2009. It will be attended by more than 100 environmental ministers and around 1,200 people representing UN member countries from around the globe.

Members of the press from the United Kingdom and Ireland wishing to cover the event must register their participation in the event. The completed form and its requirements should be emailed to unepnewsdesk@unep.org and cc-ed to fasmed.deplu@gmail.com
