Garuda to improve on e-commerce

National flag carrier PT Garuda Indonesia is focusing on improving its e-commerce service due to increasing demand.

“Improvement of the e-commerce service is in line with the high passenger demand in real-time and online transactions so that it can be done anywhere, anytime,” Garuda sales director Arif Wibowo said on Wednesday as quoted by tribunnews.com.

He said that such methods of direct sales were the future of the business considering the ever-developing technology available.

According to Arif, Garuda’s official website provides facilities that make it easier for potential passengers to find information on flight schedules and on Garuda products and services. It also enables online purchases, bookings and reservations.
