Bali, the Island of Gods, has been voted the Best Exotic Destination 2008 by the readers of Luxury Travel Magazine, ahead of Mauritius and Thailand as the other two top tourist destinations. Thus, the award reflects high esteem of Bali in the luxury travel business.

The 2008 Annual Reader Awards was received representatives from the Indonesian Embassy in London at a luncheon ceremony on Friday, 18th January 2008. The ceremony took place at the Magazine’s headquarter, Haymarket Publishing, in Hammersmith.
