EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA
The presentation itself marked the official assumption of duties as Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Ireland, resident in London. During the ceremony, the Ambassador was accompanied by Mrs Sranya Natalegawa and staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in London. On presenting his credentials, the Ambassador conveyed to the Irish President and the people of Ireland, warm regards from the President of the Republic of Indonesia H. E. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. The Ambassador also highlighted his sincere desire to maintain and further strengthen the cordial relationship which happily exists between the two countries. In her informal remarks, the Irish President said that the greeting given by the President of the Republic of Indonesia to herself and the people of Ireland as a whole, was warmly received and she also conveyed Ireland's desire to maintain and further strengthen their bilateral relationship. The closing ceremony of the presentation was marked by a reception and a full guard of honour inspection. To mark the credentials presentation, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia held a Vin d'Honneur reception which was attended by officials from the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs, the Diplomatic Corps in Dublin, business and mass media representatives, members of the Indonesian Community in Ireland, the Indo - Irish Association and Indonesia's Honorary Consul in Dublin, Mr. Ray Sisson.
